 To the right you'll see an outline of the prototype to be modeled. In the upper left hand corner is a legend, as follows:

These are not all inclusive, yards and industries are not shown. Also there may be some minor mistakes on the colors in San Bernardino.
The track plan will hopfully be an around the room style with two islands. One island making the San Bernardino to Sullivan's Curve, which would be located at the corner of the island and wall. The second island will extend from the opposing wall, and be the model portion from just West (RR South) of Summit to the Palmdale cutoff/Hesperia.
Modeled yards will include the intermodal yard in San Bernardino & the huge yard in Barstow. I plan to use selective compression to make the yards a fesable size. Barstow yard will have the hump yard modeled, just because I like the hump!
Locomotive power will be generous, to see what I have and whats planed, check out the locomotive rosters. I plan to continue modeling the modern era, this means constantly updating locomotive power, but it'll keep the interest high, as I have to replace units, rolling stock, scenery, cars & buildings. As it stands, while I'm in the planning stages, BNSF is in the process of adding another line up cajon pass.
